Me: Hello, Goodafternoon...
Caller: Can you please help me, My computer won't turn on.
Me: Okay, I'll be there in a minute.

There are people inside the office who you should be scared of. Why? There are rumors that these people are some descendants of Hitler. Always angry, mad towards the world, etc. But who am I to listen and to believe without encountering such people? One of my colleagues told me that the one who called was one of these. Curses. Now I'm a bit terrified.

First of all, when someone here called for assistance regarding computers that are not turning on, there are possible solutions for that instance.

1. The Power Supply is dead. Or if not, it suffers from overheating due to a failing exaust fan. Chances are for repair or replacement.

2. Defective power cord. Changing the cord might be a solution for this.

3. Motherboard failure. This is a critical condition, might be a whole PC replacement except for the hard disks and memory installed. Replacing just the motherboard itself is quite pain in the ass.

And so, I went up and approached Mrs. Terror and told her that I'm the one in the line earlier. She then told me that when she arrived at her terminal, she couldn't turn her PC on. This was the first time that it occured, she added.

I bent down to the CPU, before trying to open the case, I noticed something.

4. The power cord is not plugged to the electric outlet.

I didn't bother to tell her the problem why her CPU's not turning on. I just told her that it's all fixed that I got to make all cables intact and in order. I don't want her to feel bad for herself for not checking first if her CPU's plugged in.

She just nodded and said, Okay.

Not a single thank you? Bitch?

THE F*CKING POWER CORD IS NOT F*CKING PLUGGED!!!
